Cookie Policy
When you visit Hostaan Oy's online services, your device receives cookies and comparable stored data (such as your browser's local storage) sent from our service to your browser.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device. Cookies don't damage your device or files. Cookies are either persistent or session-based: persistent cookies stay on your device for a set period before being removed automatically or when you clear your browser's cookies; session cookies only last for the duration of your visit and are removed when you close your browser.
We also use one comparable storage format, your browser's local storage, for a single feature - see section 3 below. This page covers both.
Managing your consent
When you arrive on our site, you'll see a cookie settings banner at the bottom of the screen. You can accept all cookies, accept only the necessary ones, or customize your choice by category via "Manage preferences". Necessary cookies can't be turned off, since the site wouldn't function without them.
Once you've made your choice, a small cookie icon stays in the bottom-left corner of the screen. Clicking it lets you review and change your current choice at any time - withdrawing consent is always exactly as easy as giving it.
We don't allow a cookie to be stored in your browser before your decision, except for the cookies marked "Necessary" below - these are used for core site functionality (such as login and security) and don't require consent.
What cookies do we use?
Below is a complete list of the cookies and comparable stored data we use. Cookies are only stored in your browser after your decision, except for the ones marked "Necessary" below - these don't require consent.
How can I block cookies entirely?
In addition to the cookie settings banner described above, most browsers accept cookies by default - you can block or delete cookies in your browser or device settings, which may reduce how well our site works for you. You can also use your browser's private/incognito browsing mode.
Right to make changes
Hostaan Oy reserves the right to change this cookie policy without prior notice. You will always find the current cookie policy on this page when using our services.
